Lecture on COMBS at the BJC!

This past Fall, HAIR CLUB was invited to give a lecture at the annual symposium hosted by the Baltimore Jewelry Center in Baltimore, MD. This year's theme was The Body Altered/Adorned. I represented HAIR CLUB, lecturing on COMBS across time and location in history, joined by incredible artists, jewelers, scholars, and artisans in this day-long program of events, activities, lectures, and conversations! Sculptor Holland Houdeck, art historian and MICA professor Dr. Victoria Pass, artist David Page, and curator at the Mutter Museum Marcy Engleman all gave fascinating lectures on how their art practice and research vectors guide them through the multi-faceted question of the body.
